Do you only press bridal bouquets?

No! We can press flowers from any occasion. Shop frames for memorial flowers here. If you dont see a section for your occasion, choose any frame and leave us a note in the comments letting us know what it is for (new baby, graduation, presentation bouquet etc.).

Do you color offer color enhancement?

Yes, color enhancement is included with all orders.

Why do you color enhance all flowers?

We believe your blooms should never fade and specialize in a natural-appearing color enhancement style.

Will the color of my flowers fade?

We take every precaution to reduce the possibility of your flowers color fading over time. That being said even with the most diligent color enhancement done by us, exposing your frame to strong direct sunlight for long periods of time will cause color fading.

You may experience some color fading over years of time depending on how you display your frame, although that should be minimal due to our color enhancement practices and the structure of our frames.

What is petal protection?

Your bouquet holds once-in-a-lifetime memories, and Petal Protection helps ensure those memories can still be preserved even if something unexpected happens. If your flowers arrive damaged, are lost in transit, or don’t hold up during the pressing process due to natural factors, we will source replacement blooms so your preserved piece can still incorporate all of the flowers used in your fresh piece.

What’s covered:
• Bouquets that arrive in poor condition or press unsuccessfully
• Flowers that are lost or stolen during shipping

Coverage requirements:
• Flowers must arrive within 5 days of your event
• Our shipping guidelines must be followed
• A tracking number is required for lost shipment claims

Is petal protection required?

Of course not! This just means if any flowers press unsuccessfully, we will not replace them.

Can I request to have a certain flower replaced?

Yes! If you know that a certain flower in your bouquet isnt faring well, select "petal protection" at checkout and give us a heads up that this flower was in your bouquet and you want us to replace it.

EX: you had a flower like anemones or cosmos in your bouquet that have fallen apart before arriving to us

What size frame should I order?

Any bouquet can fit in any size frame. It more depends on how much negative space you want!

Our most popular sizes are the 12x16 and 16x20.

You are always welcome to send us additional blooms from areas like your ceremony altar, or centerpieces to fill a larger frame size or purchase Petal Protection to supplement your bouquet and fill a larger frame, just give us a heads up!

What happens if my frame is damaged?

Your frame is made to last forever. If anything ever happens to it, please reach out to us so we can help! cydnie@petalcollectiveomaha.com

Is the glass on the front of my frame going to be pressed up against my flowers making them flat?

Absolutely not! Each of our frames have a minimum 1/4" rabbet (space between the displayed object and the front glass). This gives your flowers a 3D appearance and helps maintain their color for years to come!

Traditional frames without this spacing allows any humidity or temperature change affecting the glass, to touch your flowers, thus making them fade quicker.

Our frames are created with the longevity of your flowers in mind.

Where do you get your frames?

Our frames are made by an expert framer in Ralston, Nebraska.

How long does the flower preservation process take?

We say 6-8 months although our goal is to get you your blooms within 4 months!

Can I check the status of my order?

What steps do my flowers go through in this process?

Our process goes as follows:

1. pressing (6-8 weeks)

2. reconstruction

3. color enhancement

4. design

5. framing

Do I get any say in the design of my flowers in the frame?

Yes! At this stage in the process we will reach out for photos of your flowers from your wedding day *if you are a wedding client. Then we will send photos of your pressed flowers design and allow you to request changes prior to us finalizing anything!
