Cydnie
OWNER, FLORIST + PRESERVATIONIST
Hi, I’m Cydnie! I started Petal Collective because your wedding day should be an artful representation of you + your significant other.
I’ve been working with flowers since 2018 and have a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture. My personal style of floral design looks a little wild, a little whimsical, and totally effortless.
LINDSEY
FLORAL DESIGNER
Hi, I’m Lindsey! My floral journey began in 2018 at the flower shop in my hometown grocery store, where I met the fabulous Cydnie who sparked my love for design and all things floral.
At Petal Collective, I get to blend creativity with meaning turning life’s most memorable moments into something tangible and beautiful. While flowers are a huge part of my creative life, I also hold a BFA in Creative Writing and love being active in Omaha’s poetry scene.
When I’m not designing or writing, you’ll find me lounging with my Garfield-like cat or soaking up sun near the water (classic Pisces behavior).

MARINA
PRESERVATION ARTIST
Hi, I’m Marina! I started working with flowers in 2020 after earning my BFA in Fine Arts from the University of South Dakota. My time at a floral shop introduced me to Cydnie. Fun fact: she even did my wedding flowers! Now, I’m lucky to work alongside her in floral preservation.
I love turning blooms into lasting keepsakes and especially enjoy designing pressed and color-enhanced pieces. There’s something magical about capturing each flower’s journey from soil to frame.
This summer, I’m preparing for my biggest role yet: motherhood! I deeply value time with friends and family and believe in celebrating life’s beautiful moments.

JAYMIE
PRESERVATION ARTIST
Hi! I’m Jaymie, a former choir teacher and show choir director who traded sheet music for petals. My floral journey began in 2020 with my twin sister Cyd, founder of Petal Collective, and I’ve been preserving wedding memories ever since.
These days, I balance life between the studio and the skating rink as the team captain of my local roller derby crew because why choose just one passion? Whether I’m designing pressed blooms, writing songs, quilting, or knitting, I’m always chasing color, texture, and a touch of flair in everything I do.
If it involves creativity, I’m all in.

Part time helpful, full time cute
these workshop sidekicks add a lot of pawsitivity to the design process.
