Museum Glass: Is it worth the hype (and extra cost)?

Museum Glass: Is it worth the hype (and extra cost)?

What happens to your blooms in direct sunlight? They fade! Even when using color enhancement techniques there is a chance of some color fading over time depending on the amount of sunlight you have your frame displayed in. Direct sunlight and heat is hard on even color enhanced blooms. That being said, we recommend not displaying your frame in direct sunlight.

We offer two types of glass for your framed bouquet to help combat flower color fading: conservation glass and museum glass.

Conservation glass is automatically included with every flower preservation frame order (except ovals and circles, those use acrylic). This type of glass reduces the amount of UV light hitting your flowers and reduces glare.

Museum glass is an added extra which reduces glare and blocks all UV light from hitting your blooms. Museum glass reduces glare so much it will leave you wondering, is there even glass on my frame? Until you touch it and realize it is there!

TLDR: pick the museum glass.
