On your wedding day:
- Keep your flowers in water when possible. Don't stress yourself out about this too much, just set it back down in a vase of water instead of laying it down on a table.
- Stay away from direct sunlight. Just like the suggestion above, don't set it down in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time.
- Make sure the water in the vase is clean, change the water daily!
- Give your flowers a fresh cut once a day along with fresh water.
- Order "hawaiian mist" or "finishing touch" hydration spray on amazon before your wedding weekend. Mist those babies as often as you can!
- After your wedding, keep them in the fridge. NOT the freezer.
How to ship your bridal bouquet to Petal Collective for preservation:
- Give the stems a fresh cut (1-2 inches off the bottom)
- Wet a paper towel and wrap it around the stems
- Put a ziplock bag over the paper towel that is around the stems
- Rubber-band the ziplock bag
- Find a box your bouquet fits snuggly in
- Make a nest for your bouquet with paper (no plastic) packing materials so that it doesn't rattle around but is not crushed
- Add a note with your full name and wedding date
- Overnight the bouquet to us!
- PRO TIP: print and pay for your shipping label ahead of time so you can quickly drop the package off at the post office after your wedding
